About Striker H2
Striker H2 is a transient shaper that gives direct control over the attack and sustain of a sound. Raising Attack brings the front edge of a hit forward for more crack and immediacy; pulling it back softens a transient that's too sharp. Sustain works on what comes after, adding body and hold or tightening a loose, ringy tail.
Three processing modes change how the detector responds: Tight for a fast, controlled reaction suited to drums and short transients, Punch for a more assertive grab, and Smooth for a gentler, more natural curve. A Focus control narrows detection to low, high or the full frequency range, and a Sensitivity knob sets how readily the processor reacts. Punch and a built-in soft Clipper add extra density and control peaks, and Mix blends the processed signal back with the dry source.
The redesigned interface adds a visual transient-response display that shows how each adjustment reshapes the envelope. It's built for kick and snare impact, tightening drum loops, and bringing out attack on bass and guitar.
