About Alien PsyRack
Alien PsyRack is a chain of eight effect slots built for psytrance, techno, trance, ambient and dub. The 40 modules run from acid filters, psy delays and pulse gates to spiral echoes, a jet flanger, shimmer reverb, tape stops, Doppler fly-bys, a vocoder choir and spectral smears.
Every slot has its own tempo-locked MOTION LFO and a TILT control. The PERFORM tab adds eight macros, the Flux pad and four scenes that morph in time with the track. The Mod Lab gives eight routes to any knob of any module. In Note Play, MIDI notes retune the pitched effects, and one octave of keys fires scenes, Mutate, transitions, freezes and tape stops.
PsySafe keeps the low end steady with Low Lock, Bass Mono, Transient Lock and a kick sidechain. The demo has no time limit and runs nine of the 40 effects.
