SPRITZ

About SPRITZ

SPRITZ flips a loop by running it through modules that each follow a drawn curve. A ramp on Time gives a tape stop, steps give stutters, and a dip on Volume under every kick gives sidechain pumping. Half-time, reverse, pitch flips and filter sweeps all come from the same idea.

Up to eight modules chain in any order, duplicates allowed, picked from Time, Volume, Filter, Drive, Pitch, Reverb, Pan, Width, Crush, Liquid and Noise. Each has its own envelope follower, trigger and up to four crossover bands with a curve per band. Eight scenes per preset switch by hand, from MIDI notes or on an auto sequence, and triggers can follow tempo, MIDI or detected transients.

It ships 912 presets in 18 categories and 143 wave shapes for stamping common moves. Latency is a constant 22 ms plus 128 samples, reported to the host.
