About Quance
Quance is a resonance suppressor from CodWaves. It runs hundreds of self-adjusting spectral filters that act only where the spectrum rings and only for as long as it rings, and a single Amount control sets how much cleanup you want. Delta plays back only what is being removed, and dry and wet are loudness matched.
Tone Protect tracks fundamentals, overtones and vocal formants and holds back reduction where a cut would hurt them; Transient Protect eases off as a drum hit, consonant or pluck passes. Learn listens to the problem part and drops up to eight focus points on the resonances it finds, each of which can tame or protect its band, and up to four detection ranges keep it working only where you want.
There are four processing engines across Studio and Live modes, from zero latency for tracking to high resolution for mixing, plus a sidechain, Max Cut and stereo modes on the Advanced panel. VST3, AU and AAX on macOS and Windows, one-time purchase, 7-day trial.
