Free sampled upright piano from a rescued, well-worn John Brinsmead & Sons piano, captured with its natural out-of-tune character for parts that need dilapidated wear without going full honky-tonk. Runs via the Crow Hill App; VST3/AU/AAX/VST2 for Windows and macOS.
About 100 Year Old Piano
100 Year Old Piano is a free sampled upright from The Crow Hill Company, recorded from a John Brinsmead & Sons piano that a member of the Crow Hill community in York asked them to rescue. They sampled it before giving it the tune-up and clean-up it needed, straight off the van after the trip from Northern England to Scotland.
The result is out of tune and plainly old, but it stops short of a full pub or honky-tonk sound, so it suits songs and scenes that need some worn, dilapidated character. It plays through the Crow Hill App.
