ArpEZator is GhostBlock's arp, chord and melody generator. Pick a mood (SUNRISE, DUSK or MIDNIGHT), hit GENERATE, and drag the CHORDS, ARP, MELODY or BASS lane into your DAW as MIDI, or play any synth through its MIDI out. LISTEN picks up the tempo, key and chords of a track to write in that vibe. Mac only for now (VST3/AU/standalone); the installer isn't notarized yet, so open it with right-click > Open the first time. Demo mode until you enter a license key.
About Professor Bernstein's ArpEZator
Professor Bernstein's ArpEZator writes arps, chords, melodies and bass lines from a mood instead of a preset pattern. Pick SUNRISE (uplifting), DUSK (bittersweet) or MIDNIGHT (dark and hypnotic), press GENERATE, and it fills four lanes, CHORDS, ARP, MELODY and BASS, each with its own drag button for MIDI.
HARVEST pulls your favourite arp moments into a melody, and VARY, simpler, busier, new rhythm and new notes rework it while locked bars stay put. There's a step editor for the arp, stagger, stutter and chord rhythms, and EVOLVE for 16 to 32 bar parts that keep moving. LISTEN learns the tempo, key and chords of any track and writes something new in that vibe.
It has built-in Neon Pluck, piano and supersaw sounds for previewing, or you can route its MIDI out to any synth. It runs in demo mode until you paste the license key Gumroad sends you; one key covers up to 5 computers. Version 3.1.0, Mac only for now.
