About DeJunk
DeJunk decides whether a sound looks like playing before it opens, so a loud pick scrape or knock between phrases stays shut out. The threshold doesn't have to sit high enough to cut into quieter notes, which is the usual trade-off with a level-only gate.
It looks ahead before audio reaches the output, so the gate is already open when a phrase starts and the first pick attack survives. Turning CLEAN up refuses more between phrases; backing it off gives softer playing more room. Beyond electric guitar and bass, it's meant for acoustic guitar and other stringed instruments, and the download needs only a free account with no in-plugin activation.
