About OffFizzer
OffFizzer is a dynamic treble cleaner for distorted guitar, from a miked amp or an amp sim. It goes after the narrow fizzy resonances in the top end instead of rolling off highs across the board, so the bite of the tone stays.
There are three dials. FIZZ OFF finds the sizzling peaks and tracks them as the song plays. SOFTEN brings down treble that is simply too bright overall. TILT moves the work of both toward LOW or HIGH. Flip DELTA to hear only the removed signal, while the FIZZ REDUCTION display shows how much is coming off across the treble.
Leit Audio points it at miked amps, amp sims and high-gain guitar tracks.
