About PTF 266 X Transienten Limiter
PTF 266 X is a neural capture of a classic broadcast and mastering limiter, modeled down to the response of its original circuitry rather than approximated digitally. The LIMIT control offers six limiting voices, each taken from a distinct state of the hardware, spanning light transparent peak control to firm, dense limiting with added weight.
Input and output gain are calibrated with a plus-or-minus 24 dB range, and a mix control blends in parallel limiting on top of automatic level compensation. A brickwall output ceiling is fixed at -0.1 dBFS, so the signal cannot clip regardless of how hard the limiter is pushed.
