About Finish Him
Finish Him is a mastering limiter from Fat Berry DSP built to be quick to use: choose a style, set the ceiling and bring the level up. The ceiling is measured as true peak in dBTP rather than sample peak, so the level you set is what survives encoding to a lossy format.
Style swaps the limiter itself rather than its release time. Transparent has no pre-shaping, Punch splits the signal into three bands and lifts attacks before the limiter sees them, Dense adds saturation that thickens as it works harder, and Safe has the longest recovery and always detects true peak at 4x or better. Delta Listen solos the difference between input and output, so you hear exactly what is being taken away.
Spectral Balance applies a gentle four-band correction ahead of the limiter, never more than 0.75 dB per band, and Bass Recovery guards the low end against gain ripple. Detector quality runs from Draft to Ultra, with Render Ultra for offline bounces, and there's output dither, a LUFS meter target with Output Match, and 108 factory presets.
