Reel-to-reel tape machine emulation with neural hardware modeling, built-in drive, free-running wow and flutter and real-sampled tape hiss, for anything from invisible mix glue to full tape character. VST3 and AU for macOS and Windows.
About Telefunk M15
Telefunk M15 models a 1970s mastering tape deck through neural hardware capture, impulse responses and real hardware recordings, aiming for the way the actual machine saturates and softens rather than a generic tape plugin curve. Used lightly it works as glue: rounder transients, a touch of low-end weight and a top end that stays smooth under drive.
Pushed harder it becomes its own effect, adding thick harmonic drive, tape-style compression and the pitch movement of a transport that never sits perfectly still, from built-in drive and free-running wow and flutter plus real-sampled tape hiss. Past To Future suggests it across drums, vocals or a full mix bus, or on anything that sounds too digitally clean.
