About Colorfield Mix Stage
Colorfield Mix Stage is a room reverb and depth plugin from Vitric Audio. You put one instance on each track, and every instance in the session appears on the same stage in the same modeled room, so the parts sound like they were played together instead of each sitting in its own reverb.
Dragging a track forward, back, left or right changes its level, the balance of direct sound and room, the gap before the first reflections, the high-frequency loss of distance and the close-mic warmth all at once. Level Lock keeps a track's loudness steady while it moves. There are six rooms (Tracking Room, Drum Room, Club, Echo Chamber, Loft and Concert Hall), and switching the room moves every track into it with a crossfade.
A stage view and a top-down plan show where everything stands, and the collision drawer lists pairs of tracks that mask each other, with the nearest move that cuts the masking by at least 40%. VST3, AU and AAX on Mac (macOS 10.15+ on Intel, 11+ on Apple Silicon) and VST3 and AAX on Windows 10+, with a 3-day trial.
