GLOAM watches a track for frequencies that stand out from their neighbours and ring, the hard, whistling or boxy ones, and turns each down only for as long as it rings. A static EQ cut stays in the whole song; this one moves with the material, so it fits a harsh vocal, a hi-hat bus or a guitar without flattening the rest of the signal.

The controls sit on a rail beside the display. DEPTH sets how far it can cut and reads back the average cut in decibels, SHARPNESS sets how narrow the cuts are, and SELECTIVITY decides how prominent a peak has to be before it gets touched. ATTACK and RELEASE time the cut, MODE switches between soft and hard, STEREO between L/R, link and mid-side, and QUALITY trades three latency settings the plugin reports to the host. A DELTA listen mode plays back only what was removed.

Two cases are protected by design: a sung note, which arrives as a series of harmonics, and a steady tone under 250 Hz, the way an 808 or a held sub reads, so low end does not get hollowed out. It installs without an administrator password on macOS (VST3 and AU, Apple Silicon only) and as VST3 on 64-bit Windows, and carries 23 factory presets across seven folders.
