THE DREAM

About THE DREAM

THE DREAM is the analog-character section pulled out of Sonic Cascade's DREAM DECAY and given away on its own. It stacks three stages, pitch flutter and analog artifacts, tape saturation, and bit and sample-rate reduction, onto whatever runs through it, for pushing a clean source toward worn and degraded.

The three stages can be reordered, and the plugin treats each order as its own distinct sound: driving into the bit-reduction stage behaves nothing like running it the other way. There is no preset browsing beyond that signal-flow choice, which keeps the interface down to the controls that actually change the character.

Sonic Cascade built it as a standalone taste of the larger DREAM DECAY plugin, so producers who want more control over the same degradation engine have somewhere to go next.
