About ZLSpectrumEqualizer
ZL Spectrum Equalizer is a dynamic EQ that works in the frequency domain. Besides ordinary static bands, it can track resonances across the spectrum and pull them down as they appear, with threshold, attack, release and knee on each dynamic band.
It runs up to 24 linear-phase bands with 10 filter types, from peak and shelves to notch, band pass and two kinds of tilt, and slopes from 6 to 96 dB/oct. Each band can sit on stereo, left, right, mid or side, and a right-click splits a band into L/R or M/S pairs. An external side-chain input is there too.
The spectrum resolution setting decides how much latency the processing adds, from about 12 ms at the lowest to about 743 ms at the highest. Side-chain smoothing can follow octave or ERB bands, attack and release can be skewed by frequency, and a delta switch lets you hear only what the dynamic part is doing.
