About Synth Berry
Synth Berry is Fat Berry DSP's flagship synth, pairing virtual analogue oscillators with physical modelling. A resonator section with modelled strings, bodies and resonators runs alongside the oscillators, so a patch can carry a plucked, struck or bowed body as well as a tone.
From there the sound goes through two filters, envelopes, a modulation system with macros, and an effects and output rack, 262 parameters in all. Resonator Mix, Decay and Brightness set how long the body rings, velocity depth changes how hard and soft notes respond, and unison and drift thicken the voice.
It ships with 2,000 factory presets in 14 categories, from analogue leads and pads to physical plucks and bowed tones.
