A two-slot filter-and-drive effect modelling five real analog filter circuits with a drive stage and transformer at each end, a level follower, audio-rate FM and two LFOs for movement, built by MEY's own engineer as a 50th-birthday gift and given away free to everyone.
About TIJN 50
TIJN 50 is a two-slot filter and drive effect from MEY Audio Engineering, built as a birthday present for a friend and given away free to everyone. Each slot models a real circuit (MOOG, 2044, JUNO, 101 and SEM, each drawn from its own schematic or data sheet) with a drive stage ahead of it and a transformer at either end, so the distortion isn't a separate stage after the filter: it's the filter limiting on its own resonance path.
The two slots run in series or in parallel, with DRIVE pushing up to 40 dB into the filters and a FOLLOW envelope, audio-rate FM and two LFOs available for movement on the cutoffs. It ships with 56 presets across nine groups. VST3, AU and Standalone on macOS and Windows, free with no account or licence key.
