Ghosty Spectrum is a GhostBlock instrument you play with the mouse: paint ringing bells, piano strings and pads, draw loops, or paint the sound itself on a spectrogram, then arrange it or drag it into your DAW. It's sold together with the Ghosty Beats drum machine for $19. Mac only for now (VST3/AU/standalone); the installer isn't notarized yet, so open it with right-click > Open the first time. Demo mode until you enter a license key.
About Ghosty Spectrum
Ghosty Spectrum is a sound maker you play with the mouse. You paint ringing notes, draw loops, paint the sound itself on a spectrogram, turn lines into gliding voices and reshape a voice, then put it all on a timeline or drag it into your DAW.
Its pages cover PAINT PADS, PAINT LOOP, a SPECTRAL LAB, PROCESS, ARCS, ARRANGE and VOICE, with bell, piano, pad and feedback brushes, patterns A to H, key detection and pad effects like shimmer and tape. It plays from MIDI notes and has one optional sidechain input, used only for key detection.
GhostBlock sells it bundled with Ghosty Beats, a 16-track drum machine. Both run in demo mode until you enter a license key (one key, up to 5 computers). Version 3.1.0, Mac only for now.
