Marimbox

About Marimbox

Marimbox puts an acoustic marimba in your DAW, recorded with several mallet types and playing techniques. Every sample is a stereo recording embedded in the plugin itself rather than loaded from a separate library.

Articulations sit on keyswitches just below the playable range, so mallet changes can live in the MIDI part, or you can click them in the interface. The Roll articulation in the Complete edition uses sample-accurate crossfaded loops, which lets a roll sustain for as long as the note is held. Attack and Release shape each note, and polyphony goes up to 64 voices.

Two effects are built in: a reverb that runs from a small room to a large hall, and a delay that locks to the host tempo with several beat divisions.
