A sampler that reads old Akai S1000/S1100 and Kurzweil K2000/K2500 disk images and SoundFonts straight off the disk and plays them on 16 MIDI channels, with the ladder filter, envelopes, two delays and reverb from MEY's ROB synth to shape them.
About MEY PLAY
MEY PLAY reads programs and samples straight off Akai S1000/S1100 hard-disk, CD and floppy images, Kurzweil K2000/K2500 discs and files, and SoundFonts, and plays them with its own voices across 16 MIDI channels, one program per channel, through ten outputs (a stereo pair plus eight more).
An optional SOUND stage borrows the amp/filter envelopes and 12 or 24 dB transistor-ladder filter from MEY's ROB synth, and the same two tempo-synced delays and room/hall/plate/spring reverb are on board too. VST3 and AU on macOS 10.15+ (Apple Silicon or Intel), VST3 and standalone on 64-bit Windows, with a 7-day full trial.
