About ASYX

ASYX puts the Andromeda A6 in a DAW, or runs on its own as a standalone instrument. Each voice has two oscillators with sub-oscillators, pulse width, hard and soft sync and FM, plus noise and ring modulation ahead of the filters. The filter pair is an SEM-style 12 dB multimode and a Moog-style 24 dB low-pass, run in series or parallel.

Modulation goes deep: three LFOs with six waveforms, three seven-stage envelopes with nine curve shapes per stage, and a routing matrix that can even target envelope stage times. A 16-step sequencer and an arpeggiator are saved per program, along with 29 effect algorithms covering chorus, delay and reverb. An Analogue section sets how far tuning, cutoff and envelope timing drift.

Mix mode stacks up to 16 parts per instance for splits and layers, each with its own MIDI channel and output. More than 1,200 programs are included, from the original factory set to artist banks by Rob Papen and others, and A6 owners can link the hardware over MIDI so its panel controls the plugin.
